Meet Minister Jones

Minister Sharise Lynn Jones began writing at an early age. She found that her short stories provided an outlet for what ailed her spirit. As she entered into ministry her writing and preaching became the vehicles in her life that God used. Books, audio, videos and plays would become the catalyst to empower, enrich, encourage and equip God's people.

Minister Jones is on the ministerial staff at Family of Faith Christian Church where she has been a member for the past 18 years; her pastor is Elder Glenn R. Dennard, Sr. At Family of Faith she serves on the ministerial staff and is the Women's Ministry Coordinator, serves on the Marketing & Promotions team and teaches Bible Study.

Her vision is to affect the lives of men and women with an emphasis on adult and young adult women. The passion of her ministry is fueled by the adversity that has been afflicted and self-inflicted rampaging throughout her life. Something Has Got To Change, her Christian tool-book, was birthed out of that place of dysfunction and despair which had her serving a life-sentence on death row. Although Minister Jones has never spent one day behind prison bars she has spent 22 years living in the prison of her mind, her flesh and her will. After running for many years, at age 23 she finally acknowledged the calling that God had on her life to move from dysfunction and into her destiny. Adversity didn't stop upon the accepting of her call but rather the heat was turned up. Over the next several years she experienced the loss of her two paternal grandparents and the devastating loss of her best friend, her shopping companion, confidant, heroine and mentor that in the person of her mother: Carrie Jean Gray.

In this next leg of life's race, Minister Jones found that striving to live holy and righteous didn't prevent life from happening nor the fiery darts of the enemy to cease. Instead she has had to learn How to Live Holy in Hellish Situations. It is from this place that she reaches out to her brothers and sisters, it is from the essence of her soul that she pours into her messages revealing the depth of God's grace, mercy, strength, power and victory.

Embracing the mandate on her life found in Isaiah 61:1-4, meet Minister Sharise Lynn Jones. She is a teacher, preacher, motivational speaker, life success coach, entrepreneur, administrator, author, playwright, daughter, friend, sister, mother and wife. Foremost she is Daddy's little girl!
